Come away with us to the tranquil spaces of the Cape. If you want to explore but do it at a slower pace, this experience is ideal for any age. This tour will open your eyes to the beautiful landscapes of Cape Town, from the city to the countryside. The first few days are spent in the cosmopolitan mother city, discovering the many hidden spots, while the rest of the time, you will be pampered on a wine estate in the Cape Winelands.
Highlights
Day 1-3 Welcome to Cape Town, and let’s start on a high note! The best view is from Table Mountain and we will have a local guide tell you the story of its indigenous name. Over the next few days, we will visit iconic attractions like District Six Museum, Robben Island and stop at Boulders Beach at the African penguin colony. If the weather is good, you can take a swim here.
Day 4-6 Accommodation in the township’s first 4* boutique hotel. We embark on a township walk-about and enjoy traditional cuisine. From here, we will also venture into the wide open spaces of the Westcoast. Here, you will learn about the indigenous people of South Africa while walking through their medicinal garden.
Day 6-9 Escape to the country and breathe fresh air. Explore the quaint historic towns of Paarl, Franschoek, Stellenbosch and Wellington. We will wander in the mountains taking in breathtaking views of the Pearl valley.
